PRP plasma rich platelet therapy / vampire facelift

PRP plasma rich platelet therapy / vampire facelift

So I’ve been meaning to try this treatment ever since I’ve heard about it! Not only is this treatment 100% natural but the treatment uses your own blood so I was really fascinated to see how this treatment would work and what results I would get! I took so long because with my busy schedule I was worried about the downtime I was reassured that even though everyones skin reacts differently to this treatment that as its a natural treatment you are ok the next day.

When choosing a clinic I really recommend you do you’re research and go with questions about the treatment if they cannot answer you’re questions then maybe they are not the right clinic to go to, make sure you go to an experienced practitioner who explains if you are suitable for treatment and any side affects you may experience. Luckily for me my choice was easy as my dad is an experienced surgeon with a cosmetics clinic (looks cosmetics link) the price of one session for this treatment cost £300 but it is recommended to have a course of three and it will take 6-8 weeks to see full results

Not only is this treatment 100% natural but the treatment uses your own blood

Before the treatment, I had numbing cream applied to my face which was left for around 30/40 minutes before the treatment. I had 10mls blood taken from my arm which then was mixed into a machine to separate the plasma from the blood so it could be re-injected back into my face. The actual treatment was quick around 15-20 mins After reading so much about it I really thought it was going to be painful but I was pleasantly surprised, on sensitive areas (lip and chin) I felt the sting of the plasma being re-injected but overall I didn’t feel anything especially around the eyes which I was most nervous about.

After the treatment, there is minimal downtime because it’s a natural treatment, I was red and puffy afterwards but a couple hours later at home, my face looked back to normal and all I was left with was the tiniest bruise above my eye (nothing I couldn’t cover with makeup ;)). the next day you can go back to normal and apply makeup and go out. I was so amazed by this treatment over the weeks you start to see changes in your skin it’s more lifted, smoother and more even my under eyes look plumper without the dark circles I would definitely have this treatment done again in a heart beat!!
